Recall Notice

92 tickets will be replaced or refunded

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) is notifying the public that a small number of lottery tickets purchased on Monday, April 20, 2009 between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. are being recalled and replaced or refunded.

During routine, scheduled computer server maintenance, an error in the testing process caused the wrong draw date to be printed on 92 of 563,639 tickets sold on Monday April 20, 2009. These 92 tickets are null and void.

A complete list of the affected ticket numbers is available for customers to review at www.olg.ca and is appended below. The ticket number is a 22-digit number located in middle of the ticket just above the signature line.

Customers who purchased any one of these 92 tickets should contact OLG's Customer Excellence Centre at 1-800-387-0098 for a replacement or refund.

Forty of the affected tickets were part of the Monday April 20 draw for the PICK 3, DAILY KENO and PICK 4 games. The remaining 52 tickets were issued for the SUPER 7, LOTTARIO, LOTTO 6/49 and PAYDAY games, to be drawn between Wednesday, April 22 and Saturday, April 25. The affected tickets are null and void for these draws.

The 92 tickets were sold at 41 retail locations in Arthur, Belleville, Georgetown, Hamilton, Kenora, Kitchener, Lancaster, Lindsay, London, Longlac, Milton, New Liskeard, Niagara Falls, North Bay, Oakville, Oshawa, Penetanguishene, Richmond Hill, Sudbury, Toronto, and Vaughan. OLG has pinpointed the affected ticket numbers and retail locations, including the date and time of purchase. These 92 recalled tickets are null and void and will be replaced or refunded.

OLG is proactively notifying the public in a number of ways.

• With this public notice that is being widely distributed in Ontario
• By programming our lottery terminals to freeze if any of the 92 affected tickets are validated. This will allow a representative from our Customer Excellence Centre to speak directly with the customer at retail
• Through affected retail locations
• With a public notice posted prominently on our website at www.olg.ca

Customers who purchased tickets on April 20, 2009 between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. with one of the ticket numbers below should call the OLG Customer Excellence Centre at 1-800-387-0098 to arrange for a refund or replacement.
